Overnight Sleepover at Maritime Aquarium at Norwark (in CT)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This is a sleepover (Friday to Saturday AM). Our group size is 25 in total.
After check-in at 6:00pm and a light dinner, the staff will fill our Pack's evening with a fun- and fact-filled guided tour of the aquarium, plus snacks, and crafts. Lights out at 11:15pm.
After waking the next morning at 7:30am, we'll enjoy breakfast at 8am. At 8:30am the scouts will explore the seal exhibit, followd by a visit to the Gift Shop at 9:45am. We'll be on our way home by 10am, April 12.
Two (2) Consent Forms required.

What to Bring
Participants should bring one bag (so it can be easily carried from the parking lot) containing a sleeping bag, sleeping pad/mat, small pillow, and personal care items. A full-sized camping air mattress is acceptable. Participants will be asked to deflate air mattresses larger than a full size. Please be aware that electrical outlets are not readily available, so battery operated pumps are preferred. We suggest that everyone dresses in layers suitable for active play and sleep. Changing into pajamas is not recommended due to limited changing area space. If anyone in your group is light sensitive, we suggest an eye mask, as there are emergency lights that must remain on in each gallery throughout the night for your safety.

Allow 1.5 hour drive for travel and traffic. Eat before arriving. A light dinner will be served. See link to Overnight Guide.
Return home: Saturday, April 12, 2025. Program will end at 10am.
Who: Cub Scout and Parent (no non-scout siblings). Minimum age is five (5) years old.
$115 per person. One parent must attend. One parent can come with however many scouts are in their family.
30% non-refundable deposit required to hold your spots. You can Venmo the Cubmaster (will email details).
All participants must submit the Scouting America Health Form, Consent Forms, and be paid in full.
Note: Health forms are collected in September/October at the start of the scouting year. If you submitted your scout's health form since Sept 2024 then you are all set. If you have NOT, then you must submit the form in order to participate. Cubmaster will have bring the binder with all health forms to Maritime Aquarium.
